Career[edit]
Mounica made her debut in Tollywood with Mahesh Babu starrer Athadu (2005). She also acted in Chukkallo Chandrudu (2006) as the sister of Sadha which brought the opportunity of a lead role in Just Yellow Team's Radha Madhu, which aired on MAATV (2006–08). She won hearts of many with her natural performance.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Mounica has received a lot of lead opportunities in television, including roles in Laya, Raktha Sambandham, Kunkuma Rekha, Arundhathi, Janaki Weds Raghuram, etc.

Mounica acted simultaneously in south Indian films Oka Oorilo, Stalin, Annavaram, Vijayadasami, Josh, Vettaikaran, etc.

Muthaaram (Tamil: முத்தாரம்) is a 2011-2014 Indian Tamil-language soap opera starring Devayani, Vijayalakshmi, Neenu Karthika, Sathyapriya, Manjari and Pooja Lokesh. It is a well known television series of sun TV. It aired on Sun TV 14 November 2011 to 25 January 2014 on Monday to Friday at 12:30PM (IST) for 564 episodes.[1]
It was produced by Cine Times Entertainment and director by R.Kanesh and Sundar K. Vijayan and P.Selvam. The title track was composed by Dhina and sung by Shweta Mohan and M. G. Sreekumar and Lyrics by Vairamuthu. It was also aired in Sri LankaTamil Channel on Shakthi TV.[2][3]

Mutharam's lead is a Police Officer who fights against criminals is her past life and feels guilty of being a criminal’s daughter. Due to some twists and turns she is forced to wear the uniform again. Her fight against her old and new enemies is the story line.

The show started airing on Sun TV on 14 November 2011. It aired on Monday to Friday 11:00PM IST. Later its timing changed, A show named Kasthuri replaced this show at 11:00AM and pushed this serial to 12:30PM IST.
